By using Study Desk you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

What Study Desk is

A study aid. It reads your own Moodle and organizes your deadlines, exams and course files, writes summaries and exam prep, and explains problems. It doesn’t replace going to class, reading your course’s official announcements or doing your own work.

Your account and your Moodle

• You need to be a university student, and the account is for you alone.
• When you connect Moodle, you allow Study Desk to read your courses with your own access. We never submit, post or send messages in Moodle for you.
• You can disconnect Moodle or delete your account at any time from the app.

Using it fairly

• Follow your university’s rules, including its academic-integrity rules and any course rules on AI. If a course asks you to say when AI helped, say so.
• Course materials belong to your professors or university. Don’t copy, share or sell what Study Desk shows you from them.
• Don’t try to get around the plan limits, share an account or use Study Desk to harm others.

AI and graded work

Study Desk’s AI will explain, solve and check anything you give it, including graded homework. How you use that help is your decision and your responsibility. Study Desk doesn’t check what your course allows and takes no responsibility for how you use AI on graded work, or for any academic-integrity decision that follows from it.

Accuracy

Deadlines come from Moodle, so they’re only as accurate as Moodle is, and professors sometimes announce changes elsewhere. Summaries, exam prep and solutions are written by AI and can be wrong. Check anything important against your course’s official sources.

Plans and payment

• The free plan is free. A Semester Pass or Plus covers the semester you buy it for, a monthly plan covers one month and an Exam Week pass covers 7 days from payment.
• Record lectures only where your professor and the university allow it. Recordings shared with deskmates stay inside Study Desk, can’t be downloaded and are deleted 30 days after the lecture.
• Paid plans include fair-use limits, shown on the pricing page.
• Plans paid by Whish don’t renew on their own. If card payments with automatic renewal are offered, we’ll say so before you pay and you can cancel any time.
• Refunds follow our refund policy.

If something goes wrong

We work to keep Study Desk running and correct, but we can’t promise it will never be down or never make a mistake. As far as the law allows, our responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the last 6 months.

Ending things

You can stop using Study Desk at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, and we’ll tell you why.
