Questions people ask

Does Study Desk see my AUB password?

No. You sign in on AUB’s own Moodle page, and Moodle gives Study Desk a key that can only read.

Can it submit or post anything?

No. It can read your courses and files, and that’s all the key allows.

Will it do my homework?

No. Graded homework shows up in your list, and that’s it. Snap a problem works on practice problems and explains the method.

Can it record my lectures?

Yes. The Semester Pass records 8 lectures a week and Plus records every class. Each recording becomes notes linked to that week’s slides, plus flashcards for your exam. Record only where your professor allows it.

Can my friends and I share recordings?

Yes. Add friends as deskmates, and when you share a class section, one phone records and everyone gets the notes. You can take turns, so nobody has to record every class.
